Worse still, the button to revive is the same button to pick up the wounded player's gun. As a medic, this means choosing between ignoring your teammates- and your role as a medic- and risking getting shot during the animation, by the same guy that killed your buddy. As a downed player, this means screaming at your seemingly apathetic medics as they run past you to get to cover. This could have made an interesting alternative to revive gadgets, so medics who wanted a grenade launcher or something could still be useful, but for some reason DICE decided to remove revive gadgets entirely. ![]() Players must enter a long and risky animation to revive allies. ![]() The revive system in this game is not one such. Many of these were ultimately good and interesting concepts on paper that were held back by poor implementation, or just didn't work in practice.
